When to water

- Water when the temperature is around 40 deg. F.
- Water in the middle of the day so the water has time to soak in before the ground freezes at night.
How much to water
- Water trees with 5-10 gallons f water pre inch of trunk diameter.
- Water until the soil is saturated to a depth of 18 inches.
- Water more frequently for newly planted trees.
How to water
- Use a hose attached to your house or buckets.
- Move the hose around to water a wide area of the roots.
- Water slowly and for a longer period of time.
